Chair slats are a full 1 1/2" wide by 3/4" thick. Chair back, seat and leg supports are double wide for added strength. No nails, staples or brads are used. All screws are countersunk, doweled with oak plugs, and sanded smooth. The single piece back and leg is firmly attached to the seat with carriage bolts. Carriage bolts also secure the front legs to the seat.

The seat is contoured for maximum comfort and ergonomics. The back and seat are attached at a precise angle to allow maximum relaxation. The slope of the back provides comfort for a variety of sitting positions. Extra wide arms provide a flat surface for a variety of uses.
